Apply for Scholarships through National Scholarship Portal 2022-23

Who Can Apply?

If you are a student from SC, ST, OBC, or other reserved categories, you can apply for NSP 2023 pre-matric and post-matric scholarships. Single girl children can apply for PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship offered by UGC through the National scholarship portal login. Meritorious students of all categories can apply for a UGC scholarship and get financial aid for pursuing higher studies. Minority, special students, and EBC category students can fill the NSP scholarship form 2023.

Number of Scholarships Available

There are a variety of scholarship schemes that students can apply for through NSP 2.0 or scholarships.gov.in. Based on eligibility criteria, a limited number of students are selected for a particular scheme. Check the table below to know the number of available scholarships.

Pragati Scholarship for Girl Students 10,000 (5,000 for Degree and 2,000 for Diploma)

ISHAN UDAY – Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region (10,000)

PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child (3,000)

PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders (3,000)

National Means Merit Scholarship (1,00,000)

National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students (1,000)

How to Apply?

Eligible candidates can apply online for the post-matric scholarship through the National Scholarship Portal at http://scholarships.gov.in. The NSP scholarship 2023 system suggests suitable schemes to students for which they are eligible. This suggestion is based on the information entered in the form.

Steps for NSP Registration 2023 through National Scholarship Portal

  1. Visit the official website of NSP 2.0: scholarships.gov.in
  2. Look for the “New Registration” tab available on the top menu, click on it.
  3. A new NSP registration form 2023 will appear on screen.
  4. After that, select the scholarship from the various schemes for which the candidate is eligible.
  5. Candidates are asked to enter name, date of birth, mobile number, email-Id, state of domicile, category, and bank details.
  6. Then, upload a copy of Bank Passbook in PDF or Jpeg Format of size 200KB and enter the captcha given on the right side.
  7. Click on Register to submit the details at National scholarship portal 2.0 to get a unique application number.

After this, the candidate will receive the NSP student login details like application number and password on their registered mobile number.
