A Paragraph on Book Fair

“A room without a book is like a body without soul.”

A book fair is a place where different types of books are displayed for sale and purchase. A book fair is usually held in winter season in an open place in most of the major cities of our country. A book fair is generally organised by the booksellers and the publishers. Lots of publishers from India and abroad gather together to display their books on various topics, subjects and colours. Students, teachers and book lovers gather in book fair to buy old and new books of all categories according to their purposes. A festive atmosphere prevails all around. Stalls are beautifully decorated to attract the visitors. The main purpose of a book fair is not business but display of books on various topics. A book fair is indeed an appetizer for further reading. It arouses interest in reading books among the people. It spreads the message that books are our best friends and companions. It enlarges our vision and makes our life more meaningful. Now, it is part and parcel of our culture, education, and life. Here we can hear the books talking to each other.
