The mobile phone is one of the greatest inventions of the 21st century. The portable device designed mainly for communication and messaging has now conquered time and space. The inclusion of the internet system and Android in mobile phones has made them smarter. They are being used for instant voice and video calling across the globe. They are also quite easy to take photos and record videos at no extra cost. The installation of useful apps like WhatsApp, Gmail, Adobe Reader, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Meet etc has made the communication as well as other services like e-learning, entertaining, editing, documents viewing etc quite easy and cost effective. Now mobile phones are the main sources of information. Youtube, Live TV channels, newspapers, websites etc instantly provide us with information about what is happening in the world.


However, there are dark sides of the mobile phones too. According to modern research, electromagnetic radiations produced by mobile phones affect human brain. Besides this, the uses of mobile phones for social media and games are not only addicting the teenagers but also affecting their studies seriously. Mobile phones are aslo used for various criminal activities. In conclusion, we must admit that there are both uses and abuses of the mobile phones. But we can’t deny that the fact that the mobile phone has made a remarkable change in our lives.
